That's "too"...just FYI. Not being snarky or anything.

Welcome!

Ask a question and somebody will help. Seriously. It really isn't too (!) hard...

Don't let any attitude scare you off. Consider it a juvenile initiation game. We are good at juvenile behavior. Except for LiA. He is all business, and frankly, very good at it. But sometimes he talks to us if we are nice, which is always hard to predict.

Question:I don't know how to set my computer at all so as to land on grateful dead forum directly when I connect to archive.point and i even have a bit of obscur don't know how to even find the grateful dead option each time I try archive.org.Any advice on this must be a answer clear enough even for a dimwit about computer use .Gee whiz I may be too old now for juveniles! But deadhead fun might go beyond ages and nationalities,so will see and give it a try but be all aware to keep basic respect between us as snorky is not enough to discribe my "no tresspassing"signes! And if I get scared I never forgive the offender .That said ,after dead.net I now learn about deadhads on archives.org Euh ...Can we keep talking then ?

Are you using Win Inter Explorer? If so, after "googling" for the Forum (if that is how your start), and finding it (just typing "LMA" will show the link), you can right click the "address" shown at the top of your page and select "add to favorites" and it will be "book marked" for future ease of selection. You must use Expl functions to "show" favorites, but that is usu default, I think.

You can "google" the letters "LMA" and you will "hit" the archive and then can navigate to the GD forum.

Assume you are pulling my leg.

Don't have a clue about k swans, or white ones, but do know Black ones exist after all...near Perth.

And keep it very hush-hush as to identities...we don't want to reveal our true identities do we?

What is the meaning of "covers Dead did not cover" ? What is the meaning of "assume you are pulling my leg? Are yo also saying each post sent is not on private message and always land on forum for anyone to read? Have you understood yet that english is not my original language, and so thre can be limits to what even deadhead talk can mean to me?

Ha--well, of course it is...and it's nice to see you here bouts.

Add in Ashes, McG, and with one more we might have a real Full House.

OK, I'll take it at face value: "PM" stands for Prime Minister, and it is lost in the depths of time as to why Midnight Sun and Sainted Stephen labeled me as such...they are older posters that don't post much these days.

"Covers" = songs the DEAD did they didn't write. EG, "Mama Tried" by M Haggard.

Nough splain'n for now.
